More caravanning pictures from kilkenny

Never throw your granny off the bus...This is granny and grandads new camper van. Their second trip in it. They parked beside us and were a great addition to the break away.

A tree from my heritage trees of Ireland book. Hawthorn on freestone hill kilkenny. Don't go to the tree with a lass from the parish of clara as you won't escape marrying her is the local folklore. We are slowly seeing all the trees in the book that we can.

     Rebecca and I at a event by the Jane Austen society of Ireland.  Amanda Vickers spoke of spinsters and widows in austen books. It was a very interesting talk.

I took the boys to Dunsink Observatory on the 10th March for an excellent lecture on Mars but unfortunately we couldn't use the Grubb telescope due to clouds. We are thinking of buying a telescope. 

Steffen aired and cleaned the caravan this weekend. Lucy battleship she is called by the kids.
We took samples to do ph tests on the soil in various parts of the garden. 
We went walking with Rebecca and her girlfriend Majella today up the woods.
